    Getting ready to remodel our kitchen. Just spent 5k Wednesday night in Lowe's for all new appliances. Going to go with them also for the remodel because their remodeler is a great friend & carpenter that we've known for 35 years or so.

    Our plan is getting the kitchen re-done early next year. Our neighbor is doing the work. I'm sure I'll be helping with demo, cabinet building and install. Save some money. Don plans on retiring soon and he's only taking on jobs for current customers.

    I get an infusion (shot) every 28 days. It's sort of the active "poison". Then I take a pill daily. The shot activates the drug delivered by the pill. Day 1 of each round comes with a huge dose of dexi.methizone.
    According to the oncologist, the 28 day regimine is $33,000.
    Thank God for insurance.

    My mom had chronic lymphatic leukemia and took daily regimens for 16 years. She called it her miracle drug. We were thankful that she had good insurance as well. The infusions I had for my eyes were over 75,000 per treatment. The drug company picked up everything the insurance didn’t cover. I’m sorry you have to go through this, but glad that there is something you can take to keep you going.
