I have had my 2010 tacoma for a couple of years. Have been through a couple sets of head lights in the past year and now need to replace another one. Any idea why they are going so fast?

Is there any moisture in your headlamp housings? Especially water pooling in the bottom of the lamp?

Do you touch the bulbs glass when installing? If so you should clean the glass with isopropyl alcohol and a lint free rag, as the oils from your fingers can cause hhotspots on the glass, eventually leading to an envelope failure. Not necessarily the bulb exploding, but melting and losing its vacuum/xenon gas mixture.

Also, what Specific bulbs have you purchased?

Do you typically leave your headlamps switched on, so they are always on and also turned on when you first hit the ignition?
