I have a stock 3rd gen 2023 Tacoma SR and I’m planning on getting a 3” lift. What size tire can I fit without having to trim the fender? Since the SR doesn’t come with fender flair holes it makes it more difficult to put the fender flairs on. So what’s the biggest tire I can fit on a 3” lifted Tacoma?

I believe with a 3" you could put a 33 on comfortably. I just did one on my 2nd gen and got some 285 75 16s on the way.

What wheel you run has more to do with fitment of the tire than the lift does.

And define 'biggest'. You can run a 33" on OE wheels and OE suspension with no lift rub or cut, but it's a 255. If you feel you have to have a fat tire, the game changes.

Yeah exactly. A stock wheel with a fatty tire is gonna rub. A 255 would clear

A lot of it will come down to the wheels and offset as well.

Need a good alignment with @4.0 caster. I could barely even turn after throwing my 285/75/17 34" on til i got an alignment. I do have JBA UCA though and CMC.
