Are you or, are you not suppose to post on the bulletin board what’s going to be available for “snacks” on a particular day if you are going to be working the cookerie?

 

sixtys/wannabes/tree trimmers. Here's ours. It's fake -- we need a big tree for it to look right in our space, and I got tired of killing nice big trees just for our pleasure. It's our second artificial tree; prelit, which is a huge benefit, and it goes up very easily especially for a 10 footer. Once it's up my work is done and the wife takes over. She loves to decorate the tree but she did admit this year that, because of where we put it, it was nice to not have to decorate all the way around!



Oh and sheesh people, we all know which recliner belongs to @Tacoma Mike

 

Good Morning Porch Pals & Sue! Another beautiful tree Dave! More grey here again. I like sunshine or actual rainy days better. But it's football, football, burger, football anyway. Wife is working the "two hours a day" until 7 tonight. So, grill in the solar light if it's even on.

 

You'll put your eye out...

 

Was going to put up outdoor Christmas lights today but it’s storming (thank you Lord). Instead I’m going to read a book and watch a little football. Later I’m going to grill a couple beautiful steaks, make a little mushroom risotto and a green salad. And best of all going to have a special bottle of wine. Haven’t had even a sip of alcohol since my kidney stone misadventures started almost 2 1/2 months ago. It is a special wine. A friend of mine is a partner in a vineyard and they just released their first bottling. A 2018 old vine Zinfandel. He gave me half a case for my birthday. Should go perfect with the steak.

Motor seized from the recoil side.
Mice all throughout the unit.
Ate right through the coil wire.
Sounds like crap pushing it.
Whole thing has to be taken apart.
Motor has to be disassembled.
He’s going to buy a new one.
That one will get ruined in a few years too.

I will get better about updating the bulletin board. I am like a decent restaurant chef, in the morning I go to the market and buy what looks good today, then plan the menu. So posting on a bulletin board may or may not happen.

Good Morning. Baked all the sugar cookies yesterday and frosted about a third of them. Today will be more frosting and baking peanut butter cookies with Hersheys kisses in them. Going out to a music venue later this afternoon to hear a singer songwriter friend of my son's. It will be a busy Sunday.

 

Nice that there are places in the world where those contraptions aren't necessary...

 

But, your missing so much in life without one…

This guy was stretched out across the driveway when I came back from walking the dog around 9 last night. A good 2-1/2 or 3 feet long. I know corn snakes are good to have around but not in my driveway. Snakes in general give me the willies.

 

Very cool little guy, though. What a great sighting. You were blessed this day.
