    dad had a 76 (i think) toy pickup when i was a kid. i had a full on hysterical fit when the guy who bought it came by the house to pay dad and take MY truck away. i loved that damn truck. very traumatizing to lose it.
    then dad bought a Blue Chebby to tow our camper trailer. are you seeing a trend yet? :laugh:
    then dad got a white 94 toy pickup and that was the vehicle i learned to drive in. had so much fun driving in the mountains with dad coaching me on how to work the clutch.
    then i met my now ex husband and he had a 98 Toy. then he sold it and we got divorced. not the leading cause of the divorce but it sure didn't help his case :laugh:
    then i got my divorce settlement and starting looking for a truck of my own. of course it had to be a Toy. and that was how Baby Toy came into my life.
    then I sold him to mom and dad and got Runner. hard parting with him but he was in good hands.
    then i started looking for Chebby and mom and dad bought a 3rd gen. I got Toy back before they had a chance to sell him off to someone who wouldn't appreciate him.
    so now I'm back in a white Toy and a blue Chebby....same as I was decades ago!

    I loved my 82 regular cab 5speed with the 22r. Wish I still had it. Bought it new off the lot for $5600. 200 down 176 a month for 48 months. My wife had an 81 corona wagon with the 22r. Wish I had that one as well. Gas mileage was crazy on that one.
