I like the Larue stock. I like how it adjusts and that it has a cleaning rod inside it. I guess my only real complaint would a it’s loose fitting. It’ll just fit in the Pelican fully collapsed

Wobbly stocks don’t bother me too bad. Pulled nice and tight into your shoulder, that wobble is gone anyway.

I have a Savior 2 rifle bag my wife got me for Christmas last year and it’s been awesome!

I probably ought to look at a double rifle bag sometime. I need a longer case for the 308. It fits fine in the hard case if I break it down but I’d rather not have to.

    Hey gents!

I want to go back to an ACOG. I'm trying to decide between the TA11 (3-3.5) and TA33 (3-3.0).

Any thoughts between the two? Also the models are rated by grain of ammo. I have a 5.56 LWRCI Piston in 16 inches. Currently running an EOTECH EXPS2. Some ACOGs only have certain reticles and I think the horseshoe would be a good fit for me as I'm mostly hitting steel from 75 and out but still want to enjoy time on an indoor range when applicable.

    Thanks!

TA11. The TA33 is lighter, but the FOV is tiny - it's like looking through a straw.

A lot of my projects got put on hold when I bought my Tacoma and became poor.

but I finally picked up the torch again this last Black Friday

went and shot my most recent Geissele builds yesterday.
14.5 with the exception of the barrel is a complete blem build including trigger, charge handle, trigger. also got to test out the new green dot Trijicon.

12.5 Centurion barreled ODG Geissle with SSP 3 lb trigger (fuck its light). mounted a Holosun AEMS CORE 2 MOA Green Dot Sight optics and thought it was a good time to compare the two green dots.

third up was my poverty spare parts build. PSA "property of U.S. government" stripped lower, PSA pistol buffer, i think toolcraft though unmarked C158 BCG, BCM PNT trigger, Bushmaster CH, and a unknown dust cover that i had to take the bend out of it to mount. only thing i bought for this build was a Aero Precision 10.5 barrel w/pinned FSB for $120 during some sale event a couple of months ago. added magpul brace, Colt double heat shield hand guards, and a LMT rear sight, all spare bits.
right out of the gate 3" group @ 25 yards off hand shooting. well, that works.
all ran 100% no hiccups, excellent shot placement. good time.

If you're doing a mk18 build, this isn't even a question. RIS II all day long.

Which to buy. Both are quality and look similar with a decent price difference between the two.
    10-4 thank you sir.

Lol, well it comes in a sweet zip pouch. I've never used it b/c I bought it before I got an acog and then went a different direction. They have great reviews and built rock solid. I think they were mil. contract mounts at one point.
