I hate plumbing! No matter how simple, it never is. Got what I figured I would need, including flexible stainless for the bypass pipe! Because the closet demands my flexibility. Bought the only replacement valve Ace had, because if I am doing this anyway, that is only $22 , so just replace it. So, ready to go and..

That's right. Shank too short. Back to Ace. $18 later...

Back in, with about 2" wall space to spare. Lit up, bled air, wait for hot water.

Everybody watching the weather.... Is there a possibility the event will be canceled due to rain this weekend?
    • , great question! In brief, yes however we wait until the last minute to decide. Typically Friday evening by 7-8pm at the latest.

Morning Alex - yeah, no rocker panel either. A good example of why I don't do that stuff!
Morning Mark - as long as it's not growing a new one ..... JK - keep us posted. I have both replaced, so it's all fun and games when they don't work.
Morning Danny - Days off with donuts!

:pccoffee: Good Morning SA! Once it stops drizzling, going to grind on the concrete in the heater closet, to make a better path for drips. A pain because the bottom is blocked to keep little mice at bay, but if I just get it below the riser, it will be fine. Got some truck putz if it gets nicer. That's about all.

All better now. Epoxy and rivets as-needed for the flare. All that stuff that age hides!

Time to prep for tomorrow's Putz, shower, and start the smoker up for a reverse sear RibEye!

Well, they come in a little black, foam tray. And they are Certified, Choice, Angus. And thick cut. And when no one buys them at WalMart, they put a yellow sticker on them, and reduce the price between 30-40%, and then I buy most of them! And seal them up, and freeze them. And we split one for both of us, so BARGAIN DINNER reverse seared!

Remember the days when you just had a left knee and a right knee and not a bad knee and a worse knee? Pepperidge Farms remembers.

Any word or do you have to wait for the expert to look at the scans?

    I know the ones.

Long time ago when I worked at the meat market at HEB there was a guy that would come in first thing in the morning a few times a week and check the dates on everything. Anything he found that was a day past the sell-by date he'd get for free. I was supposed to throw it away but I looked at it like this: he's going to eat it. He's going to feed more than himself with all of it. It's not going to make him sick and even if it does he knows what he's doing. I'd rather him take it than it just get thrown in the trash and go to waste. And, huge plus, he's doing my job for me by clearing out yesterday's meat :D When I would see him coming I would always suddenly remember I had something to clean in the back.

Check HEB in the morning for free meat. If you find it they give it to you. As much as you find. At least they used to, I hope they still do.

They actually put the yellow stickers on at our WalMart TWO whole days before "expire", so I don't feel bad at all about it! I'll cook you one up sometime!

Maybe one of you'se guys knows this since I'm new to the turd gen game:

My truck has adaptive cruise control but I don't see a sensor in the grill. I want to swap to the TRD pro grill but I really dislike the spot in the front for the ACC sensor.

    1) is there a pro grill that doesn't have said sensor cutout/garnish.

    2) where is my sensor? Behind the Toyota emblem??

Could you send a picture of the current grill you have? On my stock grill (trd or) it was behind/integrated into the toyota emblem. When I switched it out for a pro grill it gets put a little lower (which I think helps adjust for a lift) underneath the toyota letters. I don't think they make a pro grill that can bypass this. I may be wrong though.

    Tonight's dinner: Shark
    06956F57-673E-4697-A33D-638C3AEC3B40.jpg

One of the guys caught a baby (5') shark yesterday afternoon and the cook served it up for dinner tonight. Gotta say, shark is by far my new favorite fish to eat. Now excuse me while I slip into a food coma.
