Out of curiosity, does the generator take up some of the 23 feet if the garage?

 

Yes it did. I have removed it as well as the generator they installed. It was a cheap one from Cabelas, and it was not hard-wired in. So you had to run an extension cord out the door and around to the plug at the front of the trailer - also stupid loud in the trailer to run. It was a dumb design. I still roll in a toolbox in front when I take it out. There is about 2 feet of clearance up front and 3-4 feet behind the tacoma.
