Form tailights

Ran across these and wondering if they were any good. Trying to hold off for the meso morimoto limited run but these look ok too.

 

I think too I was hyped because I was told they were diode dynamics then I couldn't find them again. Finally found them but have never heard of the brand guy at shop said he'll give me 20% if I let them do an install video

Yup, being delivered on Tuesday and should be able to put them on after work. I’m pretty excited!!

Form is DD's import Chinese sub-brand. Morimoto has GTR as their import Chinese sub-brand. You are looking at white labeled reboxed Chinese imports, just like GTR. AlphaRex is also a cheap relabeled Chinese product sold at a huge markup in the US as they lead domestic consumers to think they are something special, and not just another Chinese relabeled import.

 

What is the Meso / Morimoto limited run?

Don't they already have tail lights out?

 

It's a custom spin on the ultimate led tail lights that Meso offers, but limited to 100 sets. Many of us including myself are waiting impatiently with full armor and viking axes to ensure we get a set before the other guy.

Seriously though, I want a set as long as the water issues aka "aquarium editions" and broken mounting tab issues of the original design are resolved.

Yeah I have water in mine and I’ve had them since March… I figured I’d just warranty them out in a few years and hope that they’d fix the issues by then. They have a 5 year warranty through Morimoto.

 

Yeah I was excited when I saw diode made them bc they make awesome ditch, flood etc but turns out they really don’t make these form lights. I just heard a lot of issues with the alpharex ones, condensation build up, brakes don’t illuminate when hazards are on (which apparently meso ones do also). I ordered the alpharex luxx ones and as wondering if I should exchange them for these form ones

 

Got them installed

Even though they are smoked, they are bright when on and easily visible.

Let’s see the longevity….

 

Are there visible reflectors? It doesn't look like much if so in that photo.

Does anyone have an update on these? Are they similar in quality to the MESO tails? I want to upgrade to LED tails, but the thought of $500+ for any of the "better" options that have condensation issues doesn't sound good to me.
