I think this might actually be the max we've gotten so far in a season which is a wee bit worrisome but whatever. No damage to the mailbox. It just goes flying off the post it teeters precariously on.

We've contemplated a better mount but once you see the mail lady putting stuff in it you realize how difficult a nice level mounting would be for her so we don't bother (we fixed it at one point but Mr. Plow just took it out again)..... Plus, they're not actually hitting our mailbox or post. They're just going way too fast for flinging snow and being an ass.

We'll probably fix it after this winter if keeps getting knocked off this often. Maybe it won't happen again for the rest of the season..

 

It sounds as tho, and please, correct me if I'm wrong....but it sounds as tho someone needs to fix their mailbox.

It's cute, but I still don't know how much our mail lady would care for it and I actually think that would take up too much room (which sounds like the stupidiest thing in the world to say, but here I am saying it...). Our mailboxes are mounted in the canal and the mail lady rides her center console and hangs out the window with a grabber claw to deliver.
