Yes it could simply be the camera angle. Def won't hurt to check the toe and alignment. If it is all insurance then that would be a no brainer. Instead of a steel bumper you may want to check craigslist for a used cowcatcher.

    This and that...
Thought it was a good idea to be proactive and replace the battery this winter. 8 year battery is going to be hard to beat. Will probably get some new terminals too. I believe the battery charger repair function must have done its job well last few years.

Probably a temp issue when installed. Can you garage it, loosen up, and maybe hit it with a blow dryer? Not heat gun unless you are carful.

    ...Because shrinkage.

I've been putting off doing the same thing. I was wondering if the center cap in a "non-spare" wheel was all one piece with the rest of it, or if it came out....guess it does. I wasn't sure how I was going to get it hung up with that in the way, if it wouldn't come out......but to be fair, I hadn't tried yet either :) . That's part of (most of) the reason for putting it off.

Glad to see it wont be a problem.

Sold my cap to a fellow TW member and installed a softopper this morning. I'm loving it.

Had some F5’s in the garage for a couple months. Wanted to do some work on front end before mounting so I only had to align once. Installed some Ironman 4x4 UCA’s, did my CMC, new pads and rotors, and turned 195k before dropping off to the tire shop. I swapped my old 285/70/17’s to the new wheels for now. 35’s are next. Pretty stoked with the results.

Just grab the center cap in 3 or 4 of the lug areas and give it a yank. Pops right off. Then set in place and hit with your palm to snap back in. Use the smallest outside socket on lug nuts. If too big will scratch the center caps in the black area.

Got a great alignment today, and the tech who did it told me the ball joints and bushings, tie rods, cv’s etc we’re all good, and that I put in my 5100/884’s and 5100/icon aal’s correctly! Now for brakes!

I used to hook up lights in the bed or grille on my 3rd gen Tacoma. "RAPTOR LIGHTS" before everyone used raptor lights. Grandkid always liked that.
