3-5th gen 4runner, 1-2nd gen Sequoia, Manual FJ, and a few land cruisers.

I have no idea what Toyota didn't give the new Tundra platform a center diff. It's frustrating, Tacomas I get, but a 80,000$ truck? Come on.

RIGHT! The craziest thing to me, is the 3-5th gen 4 runner tcase that allows one to have a center diff essentially bolts right up to the tacomas... considering they are the same motors etc. I would absolutely L O V E a selectable awd tcase in my taco - I believe they even have them with torsen diff in them too *drool*

2HI 4HI (locked or unlocked awd mode) 4LO (locked or unlocked awd) would be TIIIITS

Yeah the 4runner Limited system is awesome. Full time 4WD with torque vectoring Torsen center differential and lockable 4HI/4LO modes. If it had a locking differential and a 2HI mode for highway mileage it would be perfect.

3rd gen 4 runners had this but better depending on trim, If memory serves me right. Manual shifting from Hi (youd leave the shifter in hi for 2hi)- neutral - low. Push a button you go from 2hi to 4hi on the fly if you wish (actuating the tcase front output and front diff ADD just like the taco). Then you had the ability to push another button to lock the center diff. Moving the tcase shifter from Hi to low (stopped or rolling slow) would automatically engage tcase front output and front ADD, as if you pushed the 4wd button - unlike the taco you could (because manually shifted) go essentially directly from 2hi to 4lo. 4HI unlocked center diff (AWD) mode would make the taco SIMPLY AMAZING in snowy icy conditions.
