Ok i just landed a set of OR from a buddy who upgraded his wheels. His set still has TPMS.My steels have a different TPMS from what im reading theyr'e incompatible(unless u rig em up ,turn em 180 etc). Can i just leave his old TPMS in and have them reprogrammed to work with my truck? Im new to this TPMS technology forgive me . My goal is to put my factory tires (still under 2k miles)on the OR wheels .Can my orignial steelie TPMS actually still be used or can the OR sensors be programmed to my truck? Thanks !

You didn't mention if both are 3rd gens. I will assume they are. The tpms in the OR wheels just need to be programmed into your truck. You can read off the id's when you swap tires.

Yes as long as the years are close and correct.

you will need the alloy lug nuts as well.

Any decent tire shop can handle it. Or any buddy with techstream.

If you want to save yourself some time in the future, if you have ID's written down, you can buy Carista ($30 dongle, then you can pay for the 1,3, or 12 month subscription) and it allows you to write your TPMS ID's and you can also change some features as well
