I’m new here on TW. I’ve been reading up mainly on Bilstein 6112/5160 lift with AAL and new rims and tires. I thought before reading up I wanted 17” Fuel 9” wheels with -12 offset as they look great in all the pics. I did not know all the cutting and trimming to get these to fit with 285’s. I changed my planning after reading all the great info on TW. I ordered the 6112/5160 kit with 600 lb springs set to 11/9 from SuspensionLifts.com. Got them yesterday. Then I have a set of 17” TRD wheels in Bronze coming in I bought off EBay from a Toyota dealer in FL that will be here soon. I also ordered an Icon 1.5” AAL kit from 4WP. I’m going to order a set of 275/70/17 BFG A/T to go on the wheels. I’m having my local Toyota Dealer install everything sometime in Jan. I bought the Tacoma from them new about 4 months ago. It’s a 2022 TRD OffRoad SB, 4x4, CC, MT, in gray color. I put a BakFlip F1 bed cover on it so far. I have OEM LED bed lights to put on. I can’t wait to see how it looks when I’m done. I bought a 5Th bronze wheel for the spare tire. I hope the 275/70/17 will fit up under the bed in the stock location. I was not going to chop, cut or grind on this new truck. I don’t do much off roading, so the 275/70/17 should work out good. I have OEM mud flaps I put on after getting two rock chips in the passenger rear door right after I bought it. I see other members with my setup using/keeping their OEM mud flaps. Thanks for all the great posts on here and all the info.

Just the pic on my profile page with snow on it. Thought I’d wait to get the lift, rims and tires on to take pics of it.

The only options above it being a TRD Off Road is LED headlights / fog lights, and all weather floor mats with door still protectors. This kept the MSRP at $38,400. There was a $2,000 “ market adjustment” on top of that. I’ve never paid even MSRP for any car or truck in my lifetime. I see 2023 models now selling for $2,000 under sticker in my area. I should have waited….

welcome @Mudflap1966 , since the dealership is installing aftermarket parts how will it affect the warranty from toyota if anything should go wrong?

I have not asked them about that. They do sell new Tacomas with 3” lift kits with Fuel wheels though. So I figure if they sell these ( I think they had Revtek 3” lift kits), I should be ok on warranty with the Bilstein 6112/5160 kit I’m doing. Bottom line is I already bought my lift and rims. No going back now….
