So I’ve got some kind of issue going on with my 2022. About 6 months ago I had a CaliRaised lightbar installed with a custom switch that fits in the lower left console. Randomly, I went out to my garage one morning and found my light bar on. I checked the switch, it wasn’t engaged. When I hit it the light bar came on fully. But no matter what I did the light bar was on, dimly. I had to disconnect it and my winch. I suspected a bad switch.

Then today, I noticed that my headlights and DRL will not come on at all unless I turn the lights on instead of auto. I had a previous issue with the headlights being on all the time and it was due to my license plate blocking the light sensor. Now I have no headlights, or DRL when switched to auto at night. They work only when in the on position.

I do have the Amazon grill with the raptor lights installed. The raptor still work fine. Any ideas what the issue might be?

    Good afternoon,

While I’m far from an electrician, usually the root cause of these issues is the aftermarket add-ons.

Do you know where the installers got power for the accessories from?

Could be where your installer picked up their power for both items? Could be bad Grounds for both items? I think if I was you I would be back at where you had them installed asking your installer what the issue is. You have New Truck and now you are having issues with due to items you had installed.

Would have to know how your installer wired it. If your stock electrics are malfunctioning, your installer did something incredibly wrong.

This is why when I wire things, everything goes on it's own independent circuit with it's own relay, fuse, and switch, with only a single positive wire to the battery. Nothing stock gets messed with. (The only exception is if I need a switched trigger, but even then I build in protections to separate my shit from the truck's wiring).
