What’s your favorite cosmetic mod you’ve made to your 3rd Gen (interior and exterior)?

Exterior: OEM LED headlights. I love the way they look and how they change the entire feel of the truck.


Interior: moving the USB into the center console and connecting a CarLinkit to it so my Apple CarPlay is completely wireless.

 

I would love oem led headlights for my 2016, buy not worth the price IMHO.

 

Cosmetic AND functional- ceramic window tint,,,,,, ALLLLLLLL the way around and 5% kind of blacked out,,,,, out back.

OE LED's look good, and I am sure perform even better, it's on my wish list.

 

Trick question. Anybody who answers better say GF, wife or significant other lest they be declared dead.

 

I didn't do this on my truck (because it's an OffRoad edition), but if you own a Sport/SR5/SR model:

Remove the air dam. It makes the truck look SO much better. And contrary to what some people on this site (may) say, it will not positively or negatively impact your MPG's at all.

 

Exterior: Morimoto Headlights on my 2021 SR5. SR5s don't come with OEM LEDs as an option, so getting these was the first thing I wanted to do. Thanks again to @BudFriendguy for hooking me up

Interior I haven't done much. Probably meso ultimate map and Dome lights to match my interior

 

I bought mine on eBay for less than half the price of new. Still pricey, but worth it.

 

My truck is still in delivery mode, but my garage is full of mods to install haha. Of the 'mods' I have coming factory installed, my favorite is by far going to be the LED headlights.

It takes about 10-30 seconds to connect, but it hides the wires, so I think it is well worth it. About once every ten times, it just refuses to connect, so it’s still not perfect. I have one in my car and my wife’s and we both love it.
I would recommend buying it through eBay. I made an offer on one for $40 and the seller accepted.
