Removing front driveshaft for drifting RWD with locker

You’ve bought the wrong vehicle, drifting a traction controlled truck is going to take ripping all the wheel sensors out, then see if it runs. You need an old regular cab v-8 domestic, stick a locker in it, hot rod the engine.

 

I’m at a loss for words, buys truck, destroys it to make it do things he sees in the movies, perfect.

 

And now I’ve posted in both threads…… officially watching this dumpster fire.

 

So when you unbolt the front shaft, the only thing holding the thing it was bolted to into the transfer case was the thing you just unbolted and that other thing is still gonna be spinning and it will fly out and hit the floor pan and you will shit yourself.

I'm not sure if you're being serious or not, but that's not how that works. If OP removes the front shaft in its entirety, nothing is going to come flying through his floor pan.

 

Why not bolt that baby all back together and not fuck with it. And bag a cheapo 2nd Gen 2 wheel drive with the 4cylinder. It'll save you a bunch of cash and get you to where you want to be with the project sooner.
