Amongst many things today, got the aux fuse box and bumper lights knocked out and hooked up. Looking forward to putting the bumper lights to work camping and backing down the boat this hunting season. They put out well.

may tidy up the wiring a bit next weekend.

Finally got the steering wheel paracord wrapped after months of putting it off. For the first time fooling with paracord I’m happy with the result. Nice to have the parts box becoming less cluttered.

Amongst many things including replacing the alternator on the Highlander, also threw a steel bumper and license plate relocation on her JL today too. Enjoyed that install.

Pulling into the gym the other day felt a pop and my steering was rough. Turns out I put off the inner and outer tie rods too long. Inners were in terrible shape.

replaced them yesterday in between jobs.

Steering wheel when wheels were straight before:

After getting it torqued down and wheels put back on, the toe on my alignment was atrocious. It was a :censored: to drive to the shop for alignment. Did my best to match threads on the outer tie rods when installing the new ones but to no avail. Nothing the alignment tech couldn’t fix. Ended up getting it as close as he could. Thank god for the year warranty I got on the alignment 5 months ago.

steering wheel when wheels are straight now. Might take some getting used to.

Did you sand your grill before the etching primer? I've got everything and am about to do mine in the same color. Seems like a good match!
