Danke! I Like it - seemed pretty light, which is important to me! Also it's not one of the bumpers that makes the truck seem like it has a massive underbite.




I wasn't gonna get one as there's not a ton of value there, but my girl forced the issue trying to get my truck to mate with a corolla.



I'm not against paying anyone here if they'd like to get a little extra cash. Couple hundred? What's it worth - this kinda job? My neuropathy really kills my fine and large motor skills.

 

Im sorry to say I have no experience with a bumper. I think… someone here does… he does the cmc… I’ll have to find his name then tag him. He lives near BWI if I remember right.

I still regret not getting an aftermarket bumper when I hit the deer.

 

I have it all planned out… not that I want to hit a deer.. that sucks… I hit one with my Prius about 10 years ago and it took a little over a month for them to fix it.

I also learned a hard lesson from when I was about 19, if a deer is in the road, don’t swerve. You’re covered if you hit a deer but if you “lose control” trying to avoid it that is a different story.

 

I think I missed a golden opportunity. Truck was only a couple months old when I hit the deer. All cosmetic damage. Got a check for $1800 and pissed it away keeping it all stock.

So that's how they make RAV4's...

 

I had to put the ole Rancher in 4x4 to climb the mountain side to the top of this train tunnel today. Great place to do some train watching tho. Then I did some trail riding along the river for a bit. I even got in a 30min hike here on the property with my dog this morning after physical therapy. Even tho it was a short hike if felt good because it's been a while since my sciatic pain allowed me to do any walking. Now it's time to fire up the woodstove & relax on the couch for a bit.

I could hang at photo spots one and two all damn day long...those ranchers are very capable machines...i love mine however, she dosent get out as often as I would like her to...

 

I bought this new for my stepson back in 2011. It's been a great atv. Nothing but basic maintenance, can't go wrong with a Honda. It still has the original tires, I need to replace them soon. If you ever wanna blow the dust off yours bring it up!

 

Keep forgetting to do this.
I don't want to change anything exterior yet, I like the stock look. Will be adding the Calirased center console molle rack this weekend and looking at cat converter guards also from Caliraised. I'm looking for a headliner mole rack as well. Will also be installing the Subaru Kicker tweeters this weekend. I will be doing the front speakers-JL audio-at a later time as its new and I don't really want to tear apart the truck to much yet.
I have ridden MX most of my life, desert mostly and being in the Southern California there are a lot of tracks around this area. If anybody knows any good threads on Maryland MX, ill join those too for people that meet up and ride. Bike is the next purchase. Excited about the opportunity Maryland holds for camping and riding

I thought it looked older than mine, which is a 2015. I agree, I have done nothing but basic maintenance and it runs like new. I even bought a used 2018 Honda CB500X a year ago and has what I believe is the same engine. Makes working on both really easy cause the oil rings, bolts, etc. are all the same.

 

Good choices on updates! I’ve got the @CaliRaisedLed engine skid and like it. I’m sure the cat guards are good quality too.

Not sure if you know or if they’re in stock but @MESO sells a headliner panel on his sight. He has some other pretty neat things on there too.

 

I have the caliraised cat shield on order. I figure with a taco and an 08 prius in the driveway its only a matter of time before someone goes for them.

 

I looked into MESO for the led interior conversion, which looks nice but I was wanting a more blue color. That's the only thing I've looked at on the site, I'll check out the headliner panel.

 

There's a MX track with trails in Oldtown MD which is in western Md. And one in Southern MD. A few a couple hours drive here in WV too.

 

Thank you, I will be researching more of this when I get there and I will look into these. Find a local favorite. Will have to just hit up everything I can.
