Do I need a stand alone flattener, or will any amp with built in DSP work?

Learning all about the tacos sound system and have a very basic question. It looks like everyone recommends a signal conditioner in order to remove the roll-off that's built in to the factory head unit (2015 entune access cab). Is a stand alone box required, or will any amp with built in DSP be able to do the same thing as the standalone "flattener"? Would like to keep the factory head unit and do amp + components in the doors and an 8" under seat sub.

An amp with a DSP will do what you need. No need for additional components
