Hi Guys first post! I have read a lot of threads on here and it’s been very helpful! I have 3.5 in rough country M1 struts in the front that give me 3.5 in of lift in the front and 2in blocks in the back… my truck is still a little higher in the front than the back… I haven’t been able to find 2.5 in blocks for the back the next option is 3 in blocks… should I go 3in blocks in the back to get more level or is this as good as im going to get as 3in blocks could create rake? Im a newbie to leveling any tips are greatly appreciated and I know “don’t do blocks and RC sucks” but I actually really like the suspension for the price I paid. Need help on this guys thank you

Tape measure the hub center-to-fender, front and rear. The difference between front and rear should be the same difference between the block you have and the block you buy.

    That will get it level.

Bear in mind that any load you carry or any further aging of the springs will make it squat. That is why many people prefer rake.

You’re the man I’ll do it soon. Thank you so much. I was wondering if the way it sits was due to aged leaf springs… had thoughts of maybe adding a spring instead and a 1 in block… but I will see what the measurements look like. Thanks again!

So I measured it and it is roughly an inch and a half lower in the back so you’re saying I would need an inch and a half more of block to be level?

The answer to your question seems obvious, so I’m unsure if I understand it. If the rear is 1.5” lower than the front and your goal is to make it zero, then you need to add 1.5” to the rear or subtract 1.5” from the front. A quick google search suggested your front coilovers have adjustable preload, thus you could lower the front instead of raising the rear.

It seemed obvious to me too… but the whole reason I’m asking is because I thought there was an inch difference between front and back to become level… example: if I’m 3” lifted in the front I have to have 2” of lift in the back to be level? That’s how most leveling kits come if I’m not mistaken. I remeasured a couple times turns out I’m a inch lower in the back not an inch and a half. I’m getting 3” blocks installed in the rear today (taking the 2” blocks I have off and putting 3”) so it should be level after that. So if it does become level I will have a 3.5” lift in the front and a 3” lift in the back which is not a full inch difference which is why I had questions to begin with… maybe it’s because my leafs are old and they sag… will update on if I’m level at the end of the day. Thanks guys
