    Eastern Sierras. This destination was very.....rewarding.
    Waking down the mine was creepy as fuck all alone. Went about a quarter mile down the mine before I turned around.

    Christmas Valley Oregon. That diesel heater was clutch as the nights dropped to single digits. The tent stayed at least 70° all night on the lowest setting and I ran it non stop for about 36 hours on 1.5 gallons of diesel. I don’t know why I never added a diesel heater to my kit before. It was nice drying my boots at night, warming my socks in the morning, and closing up a dry at the end of the trip!

    I barely noticed it. The fuel pump on it has a little tick is all, but you can order a quieter fuel pump and they’d be virtually silent. I never heard the fan or anything else from inside my tent.
