The wife is layed up also, low grade temp, body aches, stuffy runny nose.... she took one of those gov covid tests and it said negative. So assuming flu? She's a bit better this morning when I left for work. Hope I don't get it. I did get a flu shot about a month ago. All kinds of viruses going around.

I hope it's just the flu - weird to say "just the flu", huh? It took several days after I started feeling poorly to test positive.

Mineo's is great for hearty sauce, my new favorite is Fiori's as the sauce is a little "sweeter" tasting. Still both are great with toppings under the cheese to hold it all together :D

I used to travel this route, a Tree fell on power lines between Edgebrook and Bausman, I feel really bad for the people on Brownsville and Brookline/West Lib :/

That sucks, trust me. We have an Xmas eve thing at moms each year, whole family there. I started to feel bad last year when I was there, too much food, wine ??
By the end of the night couldn’t drive home. Wife drove. Xmas day, woke up, everything hurt. Went to ER. They said probably just flu etc… but took Covid test and sent me home. Walked in the house and got a call, yeah…Covid. Just about everyone there the night before got it thanks to me.
Sucks that I got them all sick but I had a week off from work. Spent it in bed.
They may want me to be tested before I come this year.
Can’t blame them. Get well and hope all of you stay healthy through the holidays

I envy all you folks who got rain, this stuff was like wet concrete, lots of work for a garden tractor pushing 50 years old.
