I’m going to look at some cover options for the bed. I’d be curious to see the shift knob you’re putting in.
Also putting in LED’s in the interior - does it trip any warning lights? I wouldn’t think so since it is an interior light.
Also, I think the backup lights aren’t LED’s. Has anyone upgraded?

Been a long time since I had to worry about a stash....But it would come in handy when I have to visit jobsites....They frown upon guns being brought onsite.

No issues with the interior LED’s. I’m not sure about the reverse lights. Here is a pic of my shift knob. I also replaced the shift boot collar.

Check out Meso Customs for interior and tail light LEDS. So far I'm happy with mine.

Please share the upgrade info. I hate these speakers in the MT.

They might be worse then the 07 sports

I had my heart set on Morel speakers but the Black Friday deals on the Infinity References were too hard to pass up since they were nearly half off. Added an Alpine Power pack along with some Amazon sound deadener at my doors and done.

Basically any decent aftermarket speaker with some power will sound worlds better than what it left the factory with. If you only swap out the speakers and don't add power you may not like it.

Congrats on the Taco! MT brothers unite!

For number 2, look into replacing the front twitters with the Subaru ones, great $100 spent right there. You can find them in Amazon with Part Genuine Subaru H631SFJ101 Tweeter Kit (https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00PV6F8I2)

I actually picked her up tonight.
Just drove her roughly 90 miles home.
    Initial impressions
1 - my expectations on the stereo were low, but I will say it was better than I thought it would. A sub will be needed down the road though
2 - seating position is actually ok. Not awesome, but definitely ok (I’m 6’ 2 1/2). I do brush against the steering wheel a little (even after adjusting it)
3 - sure is sweet to shift gears again. Clutch is very easy and progressive. Shifter is notchy though, especially in cross-downshifts (like 5th to 4th or 3rd to 2nd). I’ve already found myself doing a little rev matching to ease the shifts
4- headlights are good unlike the RAV4 rental I recently had.
    5 - just a sharp looking truck
6 - I think I’m going to get the dealer ski rack attachment for starters. I honestly don’t like driving with big boxes on top all the time. I’ll look into bed racks instead
7 - power. Well, uhh, I’m breaking her in (she had 3 miles on her when I first got her). But my other car is a ‘21 M340 which is pretty quick.
But hey, we don’t buy Taco’s to race. Plus the engine is pretty much a virgin. I follow break-in periods pretty strictly. More pictures soon

One more thought. I’m pretty stoked to have her. She’ll be with me for many years

Congrats on picking her up, @Osloborn !!! I was very tempted to get a manual, but I don't think my hip would like running a clutch every time I go anywhere. Maybe if I get a secondary pleasure car I'll go for a stick, because it is a special kind of fun, but for my DD I went easy mode.

Would you mind taking a pic for me? I'd like to see the section behind the rear seat on the passenger side if you don't mind. I was looking forward to storage space/cubbies of the double cab, and I didn't know they ate it up for the JBL stereo in the Pro. I'm wondering if the stick Pros got extra space back there.

for sure, I will get some pictures going over the weekend. It is dark here here in the PNW.
Do you mean the storage area when you fold back seats? Just to be clear.
I guess on Tacos with the JBL sub it takes up some of that extra storage
