I like that bumper! I like the slimline look without the bull bar. Truly a no cut install?

 

No cutting at all.

 

1) Sent final check to Toyota
2) Installed License plate light Disable while In Reverse
3) installed bed lighting kit.
Waiting for Vled footwell light kit to finish.

 

I would’ve redone it myself too and ignored the warranty. Nobody will wrench on your personal vehicle with more care and attention to detail than yourself.

Thank you! That's a Tacoma ad worthy pic!!! No accounting for taste as they say, but I'm 100% w/ you on the wheels - the last two iterations of Tacoma TRD Pro wheels are the best looking wheels "out there" for our trucks, period, IMHO. To me, they are also better looking than the 17" 4Runner Pro wheels too ( kind of an odd "layered" design). Every once in while '20-'21 Tacoma TRD Pro wheels (usually w/ the tires) show up on Facebook Market Place. I'd keep searching that for the deal you can't refuse - they are also 4lbs lighter each than your current wheels - slightly more poke w/ the different offset as well. I've seen "steals" on those wheels I woulda jumped on, if I didn't own them already (FBM - one guy was selling Pro Wheels and Suspension for $1500! They were sold in an hour - also how I picked up a "take off" OEM TRD Pro Exhaust for $200, 4hr drive was worth it - teenager from wealthy family w/ a '21 Pro wanted a louder exhaust - I bet he sold his original wheels for a song too ) - I think I got mine from Bam autoparts online - they had the best listed new price at the time. Sold my Off Road wheels for a decent price on FBM. Took awhile, but they sold.

 

Replaced OE decals with matte black. Thought about stopping at the removal stage, but pressed on. Frankly, I was looking for a more subtle finished product.

Those look a bit nicer than the basic ones I made. Rago has some but they are very expensive IMO. Where are they from (I searched RWC bed mount but got a lot of other hits). TIA

 

The 18" methods I just took off mine were ~89 lbs per corner.

Gave myself an early Christmas present. Couldn't stand the OEM Toyo A30 any more so I bit the bullet and got the Michelin LTX AT2s. Perfect tire for me, spend 90% of the time on pavement and non-pavement consists of dirt, gravel, and/or grass. Stuck with the OEM 265/65 17 size. My vertically challenged, bad back wife can barely get in the truck as it is, and the truck is never going to be lifted. And yes I joined the white letter mafia

 

Tucked my wireless Bluetooth adapter under the dash. Still pisses me off that a $47,000 truck doesn't come factory with it, but this doesn't look bad...

Just go thru priming the truck for a journey this holiday. Just need to fill the tank an go. The 22 nd btw b

 

I need to do this too and running out of time. Still need to change the oil and pack the recovery gear.

 

Finally got around to getting the tires on, 265/75/16 wildpeaks.





Alignment guru's, does this look right? (Aside from the wrong size being listed...)



The tires I replaced had EXTREMELY uneven wear, the outer edge on both front tires were basically bald while the inner surface looked pretty decent. I guess I expected a more dramatic change in the numbers to fix the uneven wear.

Either way it drove great on the way back, just need to clean the wheels and truck now

 

Where did you get those RWC brackets?

 

Yeah we’re heading south from New England early forecast calls for snow the whole trip.

 

What unit are you using? Having luck with it actually working?

 

30k on the odometer but I purchased the Taco with 12k miles on it... Haven’t driven much since working from home the past 3 years or so
