I’m traveling and don’t have access to all my tools. I had some time on my hands so I thought I would check my brake pad wear. I’ve attached a photo of the pad. It appears to be a little thinner than the backing plate. Does anyone know how thick the backing plate is on an oem pad for a 2018 OR?2B7307BC-2007-4321-B711-1EE9165EBB3A.jpg

Hard to tell with the photo being zoomed in that close, but I'd estimate you have at least 10K more miles left on those, if not more.

A minimum of 3 mm (1/8”) is the general minimal standard for brake pad material.

Depending on how your use your brakes. Most of the Tacoma’s pads under normal braking will go 60-90k pretty easy, rears shoes are good for 150-200k.
