I searched for info and didn't find anything. How can you find what lift kits are suitable for including a winch. I don't plan on buying one right away but I also don't want to waste money on a lift that will drop when adding a winch.

    Thank you.

It’s about weight. Determine the weight of the winch and winch mount. Compensate for the weight with the coil(over). Also consider the weight of armor (sliders, skids), and incidentals (rack, RTT, cap).

I understand it's about weight. My question is quantifying that weight. I'm looking at this kit for example: BDS 1-inch IFP coil over suspension with FOX 2.0 shocks, I don't see anything in the description that says the springs lift X. Or I just don't understand or am missing something.

I'm guessing that this kit will handle a winch: https://**********/products/ometac-...86941168&_atid=BRf1JxV6ipWU1GjugQgX2wbcW9jjod

A lot of coilovers are adjustable. Talk to your vendor. Odds are they will recommend somewhere between a 600 to 650 pound coilover spring. Suggest readings in forums: “Suspension”
