I am looking for a stock left side headlight assembly for my 2017 Tacoma SR. I hit a deer and it broke the mounting tabs. I tried JB weld but it didn't hold it together long. It sucks because the headlight was not damaged otherwise. I have it Mickey Moused with a L bracket for now. No other damage except bumper cover mounting tabs were knocked loose. Deer is fine.

The baking soda/super glue trick has long been used to build up slots that are too deep in the bone nut on guitars - the slots the strings go through on their way to the tuners. Whether or not it will work for a headlight mounting tab remains to be seen.

This is the head light I am looking for. There was one on Amazon with broken tabs. I have that now.
Second picture shows damage from hitting deer. Very minor outside damage but several plastic tabs and bolts were broken. Will have to reline the panels. Very lucky otherwise.Gasser Reunion 2017 009.jpg Tacoma Hot Air balloons 033.jpg

Can anyone tell me if TRD headlights will hook up to an SR headlight connectors?
I think they are different. Ive had guys contact me with TRD headlights but have been afraid to take a chance.
I keep backing away from stock aftermarket head lights because I am concerned about quality issues like cheap plastics being used and hazing.
    Any thoughts are appreciated.

The posts in this thread confirm that the headlight connectors are different in the SR.
