problem is I already have a radar tapped to the mirror

would I blow fuses if I add a Dashcam to the same circuit

Is there somewhere else I can tap in the mirror / overhead area

My best reply is you shouldn't blow a fuse.
My radar detector and camcorder are running off the same wire. I've had zero issues for close to a year.

Radar detetors aren't always for going 105 mph on the interstate.
Sometimes police and SO wanna give you a ticket for 3 over in a 25/35/45.
I like to know they are out there

 

Yea i dont speed on highways.....it's the local roads where it helps a lot

 

Can’t say I have had that problem. Truthfully we don’t have many LEO around here, and they tend to look the other way at my truck, or directly at it maybe.

 

lol i drive with a radar, even if i dont go 20-30 over the speed limit, its nice to have esp at night in case cops are parked up somewhere waiting to snag you. If it can save me 250 for a speeding ticket, i'll always have a detector. Sure, you can say "well just dont speed" but lets be honest, even if you go 10 over the limit, some cops will still ticket you.

 

Like I said they don’t give a shit around here. Only see them in certain spots and when people get pulled over in the 65 it’s because they are topping 80.
