I couldn't find the Tundra I wanted when I bought my Tacoma. I do love my Tacoma. This bad boy showed up at the same dealership where I bough my Taco earlier this year.
Ok, not everyone gonna love the wheel, tire, lift, etc.....
But who would trade a 23 Taco for a 2020 Tundra low mileage V8!
I gotta say, I'm intrigued. The Tundra...

I wouldn't pay $50 for that abomination, but it's your money- do what you want.

If you're actually serious, I'd be wondering why someone is trading it in with low miles after spending all that money on "upgrades." Looks like a repo special to me.

The prior generation Tundras sucked gas like it was free. That lift and those tires will probably push over to the GPM side instead of MPG. In addition, I would never buy a used truck with that type of work done. You have no idea of the quality of the parts used or if the installation was done correctly. And yea, as a matter of taste, I wouldn't take that truck for free LOL. But like someone said, it's your money.

The Tundra is a Jack of all trades master of none, my buddy has one and it's a monster inside but I guess he needs it since him and his wife and two kids are all about 6 feet tall but it literally gets 11mpg gallon so he never drives it and when he does he doesn't go faster than 55 or else he will be pushed into the single digits (his is lifted on 35s)

Also when we went wheeling he was pretty limited on trails. The reason he got it was to tow his razr to the desert but he always takes his family in the sienna because the poor mpg of the Tundra

Don't get me wrong I know that 5.7 is indestructible etc and I've considered one but if I had anything to tow I would get s full size domestic diesel

It's all about getting the right tool for the job and with the Tundra it's not a great hauler can't compete nothing to a diesel, poor mpg, too big and heavy for trails or back country.

The positives are it's literally the size of a studio apartment inside, the 5.7 is smooth and reliable

Do you need a bigger truck?
Is your trade in value worth making the switch or are they offering you too low of a price?
If you don't like the tire/wheels did you figure the cost for a new package minus what you could sell the existing for and is it worth it?
Does crap gas mileage bother you?

Only you know whether it is worth it. The Tundra is a great truck and the V8 is an excellent engine. If money wasn't an object I would do it.

    Oh look, another mod....

I don't know why the previous owner had Fox Shocks on it (other than to flex on his Instagram account), you KNOW that truck's tires never touched dirt. Having a sidewall that skinny on an offroad tire is laughable, especially if they lift it by 6 inches.

The rule is: The taller the lift and the skinnier the sidewall, the more of a trailer queen/pavement princess it is. You also don't know what butcher got their hands on the suspension, it could be total shit and not done properly.

I would pass not the right one. I was considering the same 2 vehicles and didn’t want the size around here on small roads. I also didn’t want the mpg when off trailing around and fishing

If you have the money and your heart tells you to do it, then do it. Or don't. We can't answer that question for you. Needs, wants, blah blah blah. Look for answers within.

Personally I wouldn't do it because I love my Tacoma, and my garage is too small for that monstrosity to fit inside. I don't have a family, don't tow, don't have a need for a full size (nor do I want one). Your needs might be different.
