Well it's been a couple of months since I posted. Last month I went in for my Yearly tests. And today I got back some but NOT all the results. We are still waiting on the Biopsy Cancer percentage from a Lab in Seattle Washington. My Bone Density is low (meaning easy to break) So I will be going back in for "Zometa" infusions again in 7 or 8 weeks. My results back from Seattle will determine if and when I may able to continue or discontinue taking Chemo each month.

I hope everyone is well. If you do not feel well please go see a Dr.

Stick with me here: In 2017 I went through a 5 month process to prepare my stem cells and then harvest them for my transplant after we killed the Cancer with the very bad chemo.
Well today I was reading where a man with the same kind of cancer as me got his stem cells from someone that was a match.(not his own)
He did this in 2018 and before he got his stem cell transplant he was color blind, and now he is not colorblind anymore.
I know I was completely gray headed before I had my stem cell transplant and now I have very little gray hair.......I guess it's a factory reset. ....Crazy.

Today marks 5 years since I was diagnosed with Cancer. All my Doctor kept saying to me during this long painful process is that the first five years are very important. A fairly high percentage of patients do NOT make it to the 5 year mark. I pray every day for our Troops and for everyone that has Cancer. I also pray for the caregivers and family members that watch their loved ones go through treatment. God is powerful.
    Be safe Y'all.

Today is the 5 year anniversary of my stem cell transplant. Anywhere from 30 to 40% of the patients that have a stem cell transplant for this very painful cancer that I have do not make it to the 5 year mark. Please say a prayer today for the families that have lost loved ones to any type of cancer. I am NOT done yet. God bless everyone of you. Be Safe.

Update: I went to my Dr. on Dec 2nd and they did annual blood work and bone and bone marrow biopsies. it takes several weeks for these test results to come back.
Again this year all my tests came back negative so my Dr. has decided to suspend all my monthly chemo treatments at this time. There is no cure for this Cancer so they will monitor my blood work every 3 months to check to see if the cancer is returning.
It will be great to be free from the very painfull monthly treatments.
I hope everyone has a Safe and Happy Christmas Holiday !!
