Hello. Looking for recommendations for a shop to paint my canopy. Prefer Snohomish/ King King County, WA but willing to travel if reasonable. Thanks in advance.

I don’t have a recommendation but I’d be curious to see how much this ends up costing you. I’ve had the same thought a few times. Called a shop that does wraps and the estimated 1k though not sure how accurate that is.

Got estimates for vinyl wrap. It’s about $800 plus tax for black and about $1000 plus tax to color match. Trying to find the best deal at a reasonable price. I’ll keep you posted if I find something.

Lowest paint quote I got was $1800 from a collision shop in Mukilteo. Thinking about buying a compressor and equipment to diy paint. Saw a video of someone using raptor liner with success. Still debating the paint vs. vinyl wrap route.

ouch, that definitely adds quite a bit
I found a cheap bright orange canopy and wanted to get it painted army green but with 1800 as the price tag that ends up close to the cost of new

Yeah. Times are tough now. I found a vinyl guy from Oregon that comes up to Seattle every so often. He actually quoted me between $400 - 500 to wrap. By far the cheapest. Lmk if you want his info. I also got referred to some smaller body shops that could spray it if I purchased the paint. Gotta follow up with them to see the quality of work. I also called some Leer dealers and they’re looking at a 4-5 week wait. No bad for this market. A used camper still wouldn’t be bad if the price was right.

Thanks TacoJay, I may do that at some point. I'll likely end up with black which will be fine with me.

Update. Ended up going to Maaco in Woodinville, WA. Prep, one coat base and once coat clear. $500 bucks plus tax. I’m happy with the paint job and color match. I would definitely use them again.

Looks great! Just make sure to keep a sealant or wax on it to protect the clear coat.

That's a great deal for paint and clear, the match is spot on from the picture.
