Whats your Favorite Taco recipes

First post, and obviously still taco related….
Whats your favorite taco recipe

I’ll go first…
Nice flank steak marinaded w/ orange juice, adobo, crushed garlic, and a little mustard.
Cook till crispy on the edges and chop.
Double corn tortilla and garnish with pico de gallo and lime.
drink with an ice cold Monte Carlo beer or Presidente

My favorite taco has aftermarket bumpers, Warn winch, 33's on 12.5's, King 2.5's, tons of lighting up front, kick ass stereo system, more Meso stuff than can be listed and a KD Max tune topped off with some Inferno hot sauce

If you don’t mind more “exotic” cuts, replace the flank steak with beef tongue…its like a filet mignon for broke-asses

I like simple. Fresh and simple makes amazing tacos. Done right it impresses at the campsite, people will be talking about it for weeks. Done wrong, people will still be talking about it for weeks.



Chorizo, mango salsa, runny egg.

Shredded chicken, avocado, ranch, hot sauce.

Cubed beef, queso, potato.

Grilled shrimp, lime juice, black beans, pico.

That one always slays. Put it on a good corn tortilla, serve with a medium beer, and people won't shut up about it.

Best I can do is a homemade slaw on top of homemade fish tacos

 

Never thought about greek yogurt before. Come to think of it, doing braised lamb with greek yogurt, lemon, cucumber, and parsley sounds fucking bomb

We grill chicken thighs seasoned with olive oil, salt, and pepper, and build our own soft tacos, warm the tortillas up on the gas range and pack them full, sort of like mini-burritos...

table is set with little bowls of sliced romaine hearts, tomatoes, avocado, sour cream, cheese, and Rosarito seasoned whole black-bleans, mexican rice, Oaxahaca mama salsa.

I turned the Mrs. on to Tapatio about 10 yrs ago, and personally switched to Cholula a
couple of years ago... so we have both in the fridge

 

it's not Tuesday, but we had tacos tonight

 

Red, tunneau cover, racks, snow tires.

 

Grilled blackened tilapia, mango salsa, chimichurri. Simple, easy, fast(ish), tasty. March through about October it's a weekly request. Pairs well with a (real) margarita (no "mix" allowed), but even better with bandera.
