I easily write at least 12 - 15 checks a month or more depending on where insurance and tax payments fall.

We were at friends in Indiana when their son got married watching them open wedding gifts. They opened one from their aunt who was there, it was a really nice blanket and a ¼ full insulated mug. Their aunt said "That's where that mug went!"

I saved a tree the other day and revived a ladder stand that has been abandoned for 5 or 6 years. I hate to see things just rot away...

I've seen this stand for years, and know nobody has used it for at least 5 years. I should have taken more pictures. There were trees growing through it. I finally figured it would either come home with me, or be swallowed by the tree.

I had to cut it apart to get it "out" of the tree, then weld it back together. A few pieces were rusted out, but it will survive.

This is where the top support was.
    IMG_20221219_112724.jpg

This is the support that extends off the ladder. There was no saving it.
    IMG_20221219_112710.jpg

Back in one piece and primed with a few odds and ends added...

    I don’t wrap gifts.
I did ONCE, and watching people tear off the paper I spent multiple nights on was disappointing.

I learned it’s a complete waste of my time.
    (And I suck at wrapping)
I just give it to them in the bag that the store put it in. (Seriously, I do)

Yeah, they'll rub. I have 275 70 17's, which are smaller and they rubbed. I heated my mudflaps and formed them to the sheet metal, trimmed the front bumper cover, moved the wheel liner, and spaced the wheels out 1⅛" to clear the upper control arms, and they still touch a little at certain times.

This. I need 3 bays and a lift. Ive been drafting plans for a few years now...not far from pulling the trigger. Building out of pocket and non conventional havnt helped time wise but in the end ill be happier.

On the poll this year I convinced my kids to wrap all the things I needed to wrap, so it was a win win
