It is an early Meso Custom coin tray, I'm not sure they still offer it.

Changed out the stock bulbs for some brighter ones, because my vision at night sucks. Also put LEDs in all the interior lights.

Good idea-they look GOOD. My OEM bulbs are very dull. Where did you get the replacement bulbs?

Sliders look good, but it looks like there's still some chrome in those side mirror turn signals :D

Gotcha, thanks for the reply. It's super clean. The others I've seen look really cheap and poorly constructed.

I posted a link to them, but I guess it's awaiting Mod approval...? but both the fogs and headlight bulbs are the brand Auxito. I had them on my 2014 I used to have and loved them. I just ordered them on Amazon.

Edit: no pics, because it's obvious what they look like, but for the interior LEDs I ordered a kit for around $20 that included Map, vanity, dome, reverse and license plate bulbs.

    A few.
Welcome, I joined the 3rd gen club 5 weeks ago, also kept my 1st gen. Definitely big differences between the trucks, I think the clutch throw is one of the biggest, 1st gen clutch is much shorter than the 3rd. It takes some getting used to.

Thanks for working with me there, just placed order, should arrive tonight. :)

HOPEFULLY these aren't the bulbs that cause me to hold up my left hand to block oncoming vehicles with lights so bright that I cannot see the road until they pass. Jeezzus I hate those. The side images on the product indicated that they do NOT shine in oncoming traffic eyes. **Trying to do my part to protect the Human Race.

Went ahead and tossed on some Lamin-X foglight film on my OEM LED fog lights to get some "tacticool" going on lol. Click the link in my signature for a discount on LaminX products.

biggest difference is the insanely long hood compared to the 1st gen. that thing feels like it goes for miles hoping out of one and into the other

Just like any other led in a non led housing. Foreground glare is all they do.

I never had any issues with the previous ones blinding oncoming traffic. It kept the light pattern mostly the same, just brighter. It wasn’t all over the place like you see on a lot of import cars that just slap in some bright a55 bulbs that light up the world

edit: I’ll update later with some pics of the cutoff once it’s dark outside.

I guess I should note that I kept my original bulbs in the truck just in case these do end up having issues.

I know one consideration is that the LEDs, while brighter, do only project light from two sides (as opposed to the original bulbs) that project light from all sides. That will definitely affect the overall projection pattern.

Good post, I didn't think of researching this topic. I just purchased what I purchased because another member said he had these before, and liked them, so he's buying them again. But there really is a lot to think about. If I like these I like them, if not i'll do more research and get different lights. hehe :)
