I have been scouring this site for my build since April doing my do diligence for my lift.
Found other sites useful but all my real questions were answered here by searching the forums.
    Bought me a 1996 Tacoma 2.7l 5 speed 4x4 extra cab.
I was planning on a 2in lift but, I didn't notice one of my leafs was snapped and couldn't go w/ an add a leaf. I had just drove 100 miles the day I found out. So lucky no blowout.

So I did the next best thing and raised it 1 more inch and got my hands on some OME cs019r

    How it started

she already looks and drive great

    Bilsteins 5110 extended travel.

notice the - on the passenger side to help w/ lean

2.5 degree shim. Still think I should have gone w/ 3 degree but vibration gone... mostly

SPC uppers. Forgot to take a pic when I received them.

Still not sure if I should have done this diff drop. I read conflicting arguments on this.

lets customize the grill and paint it all black

New lowers from Toyota. The old ones leaked soon after the lift

This was a hair puller go OEM or greasable. Dorman won

New sparks wires cap and roater

Doing 30+/- mph at Oceana Dunes told me I needed deeper wells.

    Bushwacker cut-outs going on

Thx to Leinhard at Word Wide Auto in Fresno for use of the lift I rebuild the front hubs

and install LCE headers as my manifold was cracked

    Remove valve cover replace everything

Bucket shim space. Gonna have to look into what the 8 and 9s are doing on the exhuast side

So far the way she looks

Thanks to everyone here at TW and some youtubers as well. It was a great experience doing my first real lift. The turnout and smooth ride is better than I expected.
2.75in front and 3in rear depending on load

Nice! How much did you cut off for those bushwhacker to fit on? Contemplating about cutting mine but would like a set of fender flares.

One inch cut off the front and pounded 4 inches of the seam weld flat.
I had already made some adjustment cuts after my tires were installed.
Then One inch off each side of the rear wells.

    Welcome to the Forum!!

I hope you live where it stays warm.

You have way to much grease in your hubs.

    Good luck with your project.
