Can someone help identify this hose in the center of the picture? A rat chewed through the housing and partially the hose itself. Need to be able to identify on oem parts site to order.

Looks to be P/N 122610P010 Ventilation Hose for the PCV Valve. In case you want to double check, once you input your truck info (i.e. VIN #) on the OEM parts site (parts.toyota.com) you should be able to find it under category Engine, then subcategory VENTILATION HOSE.

Pcv hose from crankcase to intake. Any parts store with a vacuum hose selection should be able to cut some to length

Thanks for the responses guys. Found it on Toyota oem parts site.

Does Toyota have the insulation for that hose? Or I'll just hit the local parts shop.

If it's the oem part it should probably come with insulation. But if not i wouldn't worry about it

Until you get a new hose.
You could get creative with electrical tape.

    I’ve band-aided my share.
Some times i use a larger hose as a “coupler”
Other times I go full “jank” and just use tape:anonymous:

If you live in warm climate its fine to leave, cold climate the PCV hose can freeze, so they insulate it.

I'd suggest some foam tape rolled around it. You'll never manage to get anything to form around properly otherwise.

Fair enough thanks guys. I live in a mild climate that rarely gets below 32 F. I thought the insulation was to protect from engine heat.

If you're going with the actual OEM P/N 122610P010 Ventilation Hose it'll come with the insulation installed on it.

If you have over 100K, minus well get a new pcv. They are relatively cheap.
The pcv hose needs to be oil resistant, so a vacuum hose is not a long term solution. Same for a heater hose. Some fuel hoses may work if it is rated for pcv systems. An oil/ATF hose is what you need if one don't get oem. As I found out in using an aftermarket hose, you also need a right-angle fitting to avoid kinking the hose around the valve cover.
