RCI Metalworks Tacoma rear bumper / no-cut version. Bravo to RCI!

Those tabs work a lot better if they're bolted to the bumper and then you run both straight up into the frame. Also in your picture looks like the bumper could pull back just a little bit to get that middle one lined up. But again it's just one picture and I'm only guessing.

What do you think about those flush mount backup lights?

 

I like them no complaints. I have them hooked up to a switch to use when I need.

 

I got the midnight edition lights. Seem pretty bright but not a lot of spread, but that was expected because they are a diffused spot pattern. Looks great though!

 

Just got an insurance payout from a small lawsuit. Been thinking about doing this to mine for a while now. Maybe now is the time...

Same. I have the midnights, they're blinding if you look at them, but the light throw isn't the best. Plenty for backing up though.

Like @71tattooguy I have mine connected to my reverse lights, but can also switch them on manually. Rigid sells a harness for that function.

Assuming that's the actual sensor and not the little round plugs, no. Those sensors won't work through metal.

 

My trucks don't have it, but I'm willing to bet you can disable them in Techstream anyway if you really want

 

Had no trouble with the install on ours. Can highly recommend this bumper and RCI after owning several other brands. Will definitely be looking at RCI with our next build.

 

Thinking about this bumper, where are you guys finding the license plate bracket that’s compatible ?

When I ordered mine, it came with the flip plate bracket. You just need to drill holes to mount it.

I ended up using magnetic plate mounts. Works great!

This is the way.

Not one of those things you think about during, but after mom passed the apperent inheritance she laid out was quite unexpected.

I think it may be time for a full RCI build. Their rear bumper is exactly what I have been looking for, in order to get our trailer a bit more clearance, and get the stock hitch removed so we can stop bashing it on things.

 

I have RCI armor front to back and side to side and all underneath and the stuff just flat out works.
