That's about perfect for what winter should be. Does it ever get cold enough where you'd worry about your cars/trucks? Block-heater-needed type of cold up there?

 

Morning everyone! Hope this weather doesn’t get too terrible.

 

I was hoping for the original prediction, of snow Saturday and Sunday, not this 50 degree, 30mph rain storm 2 days before Xmas

 

Still snowing up here, but its really wet snow. I expect the later rain will wash it all out later, but it looks nice now.

 

50 degrees?? I want that!! Shit, I’ll welcome the rain for 50 degrees.

 

Brrrr...they are calling for 5 degrees in Forest Hill but I dont think it will get that cold. It usually gets hung up there in the mountains where you are. I just heard a meteorologist explaining the "down draft" that we get from it. Most of that brutal cold will stay in the mountains. Crank up your wood stove and enjoy your view. My brother just posted a pic from his place. Supposed to be cold and windy.

I'm out exploring. Last pic is the blacktop road down the mountain from me. There's a abandoned trash truck sitting on the roadside lol.

 

I had planned on installing the shackle hangers today but ended up with too many errands to take care of and being too lazy… maybe next week though it’ll be cold even in the garage those days…

 

That's going to be interesting.

Got the Softopper on yesterday. Definitely would recommend installing in the summer and not 30 degree weather.

I would have never guessed that was the blacktop road. I just saw a storm map, your area is in the bright white/pink colors- lots of snow and ice headed your way.
