It looks like the provided website has the installation link with video on it. Doesn't it helps?

Unfortunately no I used the installation video to help with the install but the connections aren’t the same as the one connected to the factory headlight.

Factory led,? If so that's why connectors are different. Those heads are set up to replace halogen headlights.

Ah gotcha, is there any adapter I can use or am I better off returning them?

Looks like you bought an LED headlight unit for a stock halogen wiring setup...

Edit: jk. Didn't realize OP already had LEDs from the factory. Should definitely just keep those.

Halogen Headlights have 4 connectors, while the OEM LED Headlights has only 1. There are adapters to go from Halogen to OEM LED, but I personally have not seen the opposite.

Your OEM LED Headlights are by far the best performing LED headlights for the Tacoma. Going aftermarket will just be downgrading your road visibility performance.

Please refer to @crashnburn80 's thread

Morimoto would beg to differ. They also include a conversion harness with theirs if you specify it at order. OP spent 1k on these no names, if he really wants better performance he could shell out an extra $300 for Morimoto's and definitely get an upgrade.

Edit: I didn't realize OP was already running factory LEDs. I thought he had halogens. Definitely should just stick with his stock lights in that case.

That’s your opinion and you can have it and share it but it is not fact. Morimoto xb v2’s are not objectively better than OEM LED. They may slightly exceed max output but they have build quality issues and lack of uplight as well as distribution irregularities. Crash is very clear in his recommendation to pick OEM LED as the top choice.

Personally I have no taste for Morimoto’s build quality and I’ve sold off the few morimoto items I once owned. Some good design, just very poor execution. It’s all just strange to me, even the 4 bangers, like a poorly tuned piano.

Replacing factory LED headlights is a questionable move and not something I want to encourage or enable so I do not build adapter harnesses for this situation. Those headlights are excellent and there is no good reason to swap them for anything else.

I think yall are saying because of the performance of the headlight, sounds like hes more concerned with looks and features which is subjective but id prefer the look of those over OEM.

There are ways to spend money on modifications for looks which do not compromise safety and performance.

Swapping the grille, grille badge, door decals, blackout emblems, de-badging, roof racks, hood scoop, snorkel, lift / tires / wheels, sliders, bumpers, winch, etc. Granted, more weight never helps these trucks so you could make a case for some of those mods having a negative performance impact but a grille and hood scoop would change up the look a bit. With that said, a black 23 OR is nearly perfect to me as-is, maybe a slimline bumper to replace the plastic chin is all I’d do.

The factory halogen headlights are terrible and I suspect that’s a big reason for the slew of aftermarket units. Toyota addressed that with their OEM LED headlight which has excellent performance. If more than a handful of people considered replacing them, I’m sure we would see harnesses. The lack of such options says something about the popularity of the decision.

I was talking about them vs halogen. I was under the assumption that's what OP was talking about. I didn't realize he was trying to get rid of factory LEDs because his initial post and answers to questions were extremely sparse on details. Obviously those are better than anything aftermarket.

A few, mainly added skids. I like leaving the suspension alone. I drive forest service dirt roafs in the desert west extremely extremely too fast. Toyota nailed this suspension going 65 across desert terrain. Changing it is dumb unless you have a specific need like crawling or mud.
I'd love to switch my LED back to halogen. As much winter/blizzard driving as I do. The LED are just a nightmare. They are great when it's not sloppy out. But in wet snow, they flat out suck. I miss the heat/melt action halogen provided.

As soon as he referred to a single connection in his first post, I knew he was talking about the factory LED's. He should put those back in, toss these in the trash and call it a $999 life lesson and be glad it wasn't more.

Lens heaters would be nice, that's for sure. I would hope we aren't far from that being standard. DD SS3 Max fog lights seem appropriate for those conditions though.
