    I know, the Bomb Cyclone, it's cold.

    If you park outside, bring your jump pack inside with you. Lithium batteries don't like the cold either.

    What happens to them? Is it a temporary issue or permanent damage? Ie after they warm back up, are they “good as new”?

    Never had a problem leaving it in the car. If this was the case electric vehicles would be destroyed. Big nothing-burger.

    Normally a quality pack will recover after it worms back up, not only the lithium cells themselves, also the circuitry of the jump pack.

    Cold temp would decrease the battery efficiency, at the worse moment.

    If you want to jump start a cold car at -16, I'd rather do it quickly.

    Good PSA. I needed to jump someone after camping in the teens and the battery pack didn't do a thing but jumper cables worked with no problem.
