CaliRaised Premium Roof Rack, aftermarket pods?

Has anyone mounted aftermarket pods to the Premium Rack by CaliRaised? I only ask because I don't think they mounts they sell will work with anything else but was curious on setup. I found the rack local for $500 and couldn't pass it up.

Thank you! I always post in my local group but trying to expand and soak up as much knowledge as possible. Installing the rack tomorrow and ordered the lightbar mounts from them but I think a DIY method will suffice just fine.

 

Pictures may help, and it all depends on what aftermarket pods you go with. Are you mentioning the side pods? Or the front for a light bar, but you're putting pods up front instead?

Front is getting a lightbar. I love the ramp feature.

 

Just bought one as well but didn’t pick up any of the light kits. Gonna do diode dynamics light bar and see what I can find that fits for the remainder

I have the premium rack with all my lights hooked up.

I just bought the equivalent 2x3 led pods on ebay

U can buy the led pod mounts separately through caliraised

If you're thinking about using a different style Led pod yeah u need to come up with another customer bracket. There's not many other pods that can peek through the side holes. Baja S2 pods are brighter and are close in size but a little bigger than the 2x3 pods they were designed for



$500 for the premium rack is an amazing price

Do you mind linking the ones you bought? I’ve seen that mount but was worried the gap was too small for any other light.

I am not sure that it helps here as I know nothing about the Caliraised rack, but I took a router to my UpTop and made it fit some Diode Dynamics SSC2s. Just a thought for you.

 

Check out delatorre designs they have a sick 3d printed piece for your rack
