Toyota Dash Cam

with my dash cam, you have to make sure you are connected to the dash cam's wifi network first.

 

Impulse buy fail .. went to a Toyota and the tech showed me his phone will connect and said there must be something wrong with my phone .. and that I'd have to figure it out.. blah!

 

How old is your phone? Maybe update the Android version, if it's available?

 

I have an S21Ultra



It just hd a system update about a week ago.
Thanks for the suggestion though .. sometimes the littlest thing can be the culprit ..

 

you have to disconnect from your wifi network before you connect to the cam on mine

 

I have not had a daily Android phone in a while but sounds like your phone might not be picking up either 2.4ghz or 5ghz that the camera is transmitting under.

On the samsung go to advanced wifi settings and toggle the 160MHz setting. Toggled it off save the setting. Then check if wifi ssid is showing up.
