Parked next to a Tacoma while I popped into the grocery store for some beer on Christmas Eve. Came out and it changed colors. Haha. Merry Christmas ya'll.

 

Hey Florida ! It's so hot here, (41F) I was able to put on my new Rav4 radio knob without fear it would shatter from the cold. It was -31F here 2 days ago. Poor poor you it's so cold.

My mil got me some bed lights

 

Meso Customs Minimalist Key Fob from a few days ago P/N 3GTACOFOB-BLACK. Like the Meso interior lights I got earlier, it comes in premium packaging. Fit and finish is top notch. Also threw in a new Sunbeam CR2032 battery from the dollar store

 

I have heard the name a few times but didn't know they were a well known brand or that they had anything happen, I'm missing something

 

I ordered both front and rear after seeing the Facebook post about them being on sale. Placed both orders Thursday and both arrived Saturday

Likely I’ll be assembling next week and installing the front when it warms up above freezing again. Now to do some research and choose fogs to install while I have things torn apart up front along with a light bar for the bumper. The rear bumper will have to wait until summer. Right now the chrome rear caps tie the chrome badging in nicely. Don’t want to deal with debadging and applying black badges until it’s hot out again.

Yeah, mine showed up way earlier than it first said. I think I'll wait until I get a winch and light bar to install it all at the same time, just have to figure out which ones I want!

 

The front bumper seems no longer even listed on their web site. Good catch.

 

I’m going to hold off on the winch for now, never had one on my K5 and never found myself needing it. Most of my off road driving is access roads to fishing/paddling spots and camping spots. I’m not building this truck for serious off roading yet.

Shopping for fogs and a light bar for the front and square pods for the rear now. It’s looking like I may end up spending more on lighting than I did for the bumpers
