    I’d recommend you try a Beamish, but considering Guinness bought them and banished them to factory, Ireland only… you’re unlikely to experience a real proper Stout.

    Guinness only tastes good in Ireland. I'm not exactly sure why.

    I really liked Murphy's but I'm not sure if you can get it on this side of the pond.

    I’ve had Murphys in ny yellow can , being an alcoholic and getting older I’m staying away from alcohol,one good thing is becks non alcoholic is great and Quiness stout is now made alcohol free thank the beer spirits for that move , I’ve fought alcoholism for 30 years it’s not easy

    My Hopslam clone for the Christmas season. Made with the same ingredients, may have added another does of hops in the boil, and added honey as recipe calls for (might have also added a touch more over the recipe!). Came back at 11% (compares to the original at 10%), adding more honey took a bit of the hop bite out of it for a very drinkable and subdued hop bite. Darker caramel color to mine compared to the original, but otherwise very comparable in flavor. The 5 gallons have gone rather quickly due to sharing and family. Dangerous and delicious, cheers!

    I just drank an 8.5% beer, though it was a 12 oz bottle, rather than a 16 oz can.
