    I've been searching Google again :rofl:

    Kinda digging the red/blue(maybe it's orange and I'm color blind)/gold going on. Kinda reminds me of my first Z50R(I know it's orange.....but still :D)

    They make snowmobile gear. Don't know anything else about them though. All of my snow gear is FXR. I see what looks like a breath box in that picture though, which leads me to believe it's a snow helmet, or cold climate helmet.

    Was your Z50 an '86? My first bike was a 1985 Z50. Still have it. Looks orange, but I think Honda called that color blaze red. At least that's what I came up with for the 1984 CR60 that I'm taking my sweet time building.

    That helmet is more of a "If I have money to burn" buy. I'm more than happy with my Suomy

    I got it for Christmas of 84, so I'm not sure what year it was. I was 5(turned 6 in March of 85). I rode the wheels off that bike until I got an XR80 when I was 10ish :D

    It looks remarkably similar to 509's helmets, one of those things where they find a chinese manufacturer making a generic helmet and slap their graphics and logos on it. They're okay helmets, but nothing special. I commuted in it for a long time, but it was way too loud to use on any kind of highway use. The internal sunshield was surprisingly useful, though. The one I have is a 509 Delta R3, doesn't look like they make it anymore. Weirdly enough, 509 is also primarily a snowmobile company.

    My Suomy has the flop down shade. I use it a lot.

    That’s very true, and I do see the resemblance now that you mention it. I mentioned that my snow gear is FXR, but I went with CKX for my helmet. I knew what I wanted, but due to supply chain issues, couldn’t find it in stock online, or at any of the sled shops I called. There were lots of 509 helmets in stock though. Decided to be patient, and ordered my Titan from a dealer just a few minutes from the house. I’ve made the mistake a few too many times of settling, then going back and buying what it is that I originally wanted. Just end up spending the same money twice.

    Heated goggles, and a drop down chin bar so I can glug glug without taking my lid off.

    That drop down chin is sweet. Never seen that approach to a modular helmet before.

    I had to take a holiday ride to get out of the house. {mother in law staying over}

    37 degrees is the coldest I think I have ever ridden in. I got a thumbs up from a grandpa next to me at a light and waived at another bike on the way home.

    Sounds like you need to ask Santa for some heated gear. I didn’t get out today myself. Below 20 all day here and while I have gone out in those temps we just had too much stuff left to do prepping for Christmas dinner for me to stick her here doing everything while I went riding.

    For any of you looking for an excuse to go riding and who enjoy going to new places and seeing new things.

    http://glmc.org/grand_tour.php

    This is a 9 month long "grand tour" that will be pretty easy to be a finisher and get a t-shirt and just maybe other cool prizes. I signed up a few weeks ago and I'm already spending my winter down time planning rides for next year.
