They definitely can fit. With a lift and some aggressive mud terrains, you can pull it off.

At first I thought the bolt heads were ornamental but it looks like you have some kind of sleeve on those wheels to widen them?

I dont know exactly what @vicali did but the latest trend on the wheel scene is doing 2pc-3pc conversions to factory wheels. They machine the face off factory wheels and mount them on custom barrels/lips. The end result is pretty unique but it costs a pretty penny. The profile link below is of a guy that does these conversions.

I have a set of the split 5-spoke Sequioa/Tundra wheels that I would love to convert to a 3pc design.

 

Not mine, but there are a lot of neat things out there, just beyond the spacer lift and black fuel wheels..

Those were a barrel conversion.
