The Road Toad

Saw one of these at the gas station station the other day and thought I’d look into it as it’s a good option for the 4 cyl guys such as myself and it beats sleeping in the truck bed like I usually do. Its super light weight an reasonably priced.

They look like very nice teardrops, but those guys need a serious lesson in marketing and presentation.

 

My first step to buying a trailer is checking the website registrar of the manufacturer. If it is GoDaddy I move on to the next manufacturer.

 

Why would that matter?

 

This video says it better than I could. Check out the comments. Avoid it at all costs and if GD purchases a smaller domain registrar that you use, get off of it as soon as possible. Truthfully, I didn't go to Vorsheer's website and do a WHOIS lookup. It didn't even come into the decision matrix - I was just looking at the road toad website and was thinking that something so poorly designed is probably hosted on GoDaddy. If they were serious about selling their trailers they would spend more time on their website to put their best foot forward and host it on a reputable platform.

It was a partial shit post.

No joke. Wix, Squarespace and others make it so easy to build an attractive website with no code needed. This looks like the company owner has a child that was in an intro to HTML / CSS class and this was the class project.

 

So thier website sux so the trailers sux?
