Judging a Food by it's Texture

What food squeaks on your teeth? Popcorn is the only food I could think of that may do something like that.

 

Home grown beans are delicious in spite of the squeaking.

If you've never found a food you don't like the texture of, you probably haven't tried enough foods

I'll try anything and most of the things people have listed in this thread as gross, I've tried and probably enjoyed. Having said that, I've found a few things that taste pretty good, but the texture is just a no for me. Sisig, a Filipino dish, tastes great but the cartilage bits it is often made with is just too chewy and crunchy. I pretty much stay away from anything with tripe in it because of its texture as well.

 

First world problem. Get hungry enough and you'll eat regardless of taste and texture.

 

Yeah, but I'd have to be pretty hungry. I mean there was one time when I was in China that I was so hungry that I actually ate a Big Mac.

 

I hate the texture of apple sauce.
