Any chance these two are connected? I lost my cruise control and windshield washer pump at the same time. I also had a check engine light come on with a bad thermostat P0128

I could be wrong, but the two are not connected. One is belt driven, the other is computerized/electronic. I think it was just a weird coincidence they went out at the same time.

If connected it’s something strange like a bad ground(s).

I dont think either cruise control or the washer fluid pump is belt driven lol.

OP not to insult you, but you sure you have enough washer fluid in the truck? :D Depending on your location it gets used heavily this time of year and can run out quick.

If so Id take a stab and say something electrical.. Wonder if you have some minimal rodent wire damage somewhere?

Did the CEL turn on at the exact same time as the cruise and washer issue?

How cold is it where you are? My washer fluid froze up, and cruise control stopped working till I disconnected and reconnected battery - both on the same day.

Circuits are separate, from power in to ground.

I thought so, but this is all I'm seeing. I suppose it depends on the fault?
